Responsibilities
- Translate client business and technical requirements into technical designs and scalable GenAI or agentic AI solutions.
- Architect, develop, and productionize GenAI systems on Azure or AWS for enterprise workloads.
- Define architecture, technologies, frameworks, design patterns, and non-functional requirement guidelines.
- Write and review architecture and high-level design documents for development teams.
- Review solutions for extensibility, scalability, security, user experience, and other best practices.
- Build and expose APIs with FastAPI and integrate applications with databases through an ORM.
- Conduct proofs of concept, identify suitable solution options, and resolve implementation or code-review issues through root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, development, and cross-functional teams to deliver AI-driven solutions.
Requirements
- 8+ years of total professional experience.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Deep understanding of LLMs, Transformers, and models including GPTs, Llama, Claude, Gemini, Qwen, Mistral, and BERT-family models.
- Expert prompt engineering skills and proven experience implementing RAG architectures.
- Strong Python programming skills and proficiency with AI/ML libraries such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangGraph, LangSmith, Hugging Face Transformers, Scikit-learn, and PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Strong experience with fine-tuning, distillation, GenAI evaluation, and metrics such as BLEU, ROUGE, perplexity, semantic similarity, and human evaluation.
- Experience using managed AI/ML services such as Azure Machine Learning Studio and AI Foundry, with production GenAI deployments on Azure or AWS.
- Strong understanding of vector databases such as Weaviate and Neo4j.
- Proficiency with FastAPI and at least one ORM, such as SQLAlchemy or Tortoise ORM.
- Experience scaling AI solutions in live environments and successfully delivering at least one production GenAI or agentic AI solution.
- Familiarity with Model Context Protocol and contributions to open-source GenAI projects.
- React or another JavaScript framework experience for user-facing interfaces and front-end integrations is preferred.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
