Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers building distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Create solutions that meet regulatory needs and deliver robust cloud-based customer experiences.
- Collaborate with digital product managers on cloud-based software delivery.
- Use JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, Go, databases, containers, Kubernetes, and AWS services.
- Mentor engineering community members and participate in internal and external technology communities.
- Stay current with technology trends and experiment with new technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Preferred: master’s degree.
- Preferred: 7+ years of experience with JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go.
- Preferred: 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service.
- Preferred: 4+ years of experience with open-source frameworks.
- Preferred: 1+ years of people management experience.
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience with Agile practices.
- Preferred: experience using interactive AI tooling beyond basic code completion.

- Full-time annual salary ranges are $197,300–$225,100 in McLean, VA and $215,200–$245,600 in New York, NY; other locations use location-specific ranges.
- The role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, including cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives.
