
Lead Software Engineer, Full Stack-IC

Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of technology projects and a team of developers building regulatory and risk-management solutions.
- Design and develop distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions.
- Use programming languages, databases, container orchestration, and AWS services to build and deploy solutions.
- Work with microservice and micro-UI architectures using Spring Boot, Node.js, Angular, and Vue.js.
- Stay current with technology trends, experiment with new technologies, participate in technology communities, and mentor engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing using AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Preferred: master’s degree.
- Preferred: 9+ years of experience with at least one of JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go.
- Preferred: 4+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service.
- Preferred: 4+ years of experience with open-source frameworks.
- Preferred: 1+ years of people management experience.
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience with Agile practices.
- Preferred: experience using interactive AI tooling beyond basic code completion.

- Annual base salary varies by location: $179,400–$204,700 in Richmond, VA and $197,300–$225,100 in Cambridge, MA or McLean, VA.
