Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for applications and microservices.
- Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
- Manage and optimize Azure cloud infrastructure for scalability, security, and cost-efficiency.
- Use Docker and Kubernetes and potentially ECS, EKS, or similar orchestration tools.
- Monitor system performance and reliability and proactively troubleshoot distributed systems.
- Improve deployment processes, automation, and cloud-native application operations.
- Implement security, compliance, and reliability best practices across systems and environments.
- Deploy applications across production, development, and QA/Test environments.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 5-8 years of experience in DevOps or a similar role.
- Strong background in software development and systems administration.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar containerization and orchestration tools.
- Good Linux/Unix administration background.
- Experience with CI/CD concepts and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
- Expertise managing Azure cloud environments and using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, ELK stack, or Datadog.
- Experience with large-scale systems design, distributed systems troubleshooting, and cloud-native applications.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience with microservices architecture, serverless computing, Lambda, and Serverless Application Model (SAM).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
