Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using React and TypeScript.
- Manage application state with Redux and Redux Toolkit middleware.
- Write unit tests with Vitest and integration tests with Cypress while maintaining high test coverage.
- Build reusable UI components for Trade Management web applications.
- Contribute to application architecture, frontend frameworks, design patterns, and engineering best practices.
- Perform code reviews and improve software quality, maintainability, and testability.
- Plan and execute assigned work independently without direct supervision.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, front-office, operations, product, and development teams to define and deliver features.
- Serve as an advisor or coach to new analysts.
Requirements
- At least 5–6 years of frontend development experience with React and TypeScript.
- In-depth knowledge of React, Redux, Redux Toolkit, Cypress, and Storybook.
- Extensive Cypress and Vitest experience with a focus on test-driven development.
- Advanced JavaScript and TypeScript proficiency, including complex types, interfaces, and generics.
- Proficiency in responsive web design and CSS.
- Familiarity with Node.js and Java Spring Boot APIs.
- Knowledge of RESTful web services and XML and JSON data interchange formats.
- Familiarity with relational database management systems such as Sybase, SQL Server, or Oracle, as well as NoSQL technologies.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing requirements.
- Understanding of clean coding principles and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of equity derivatives products and product lifecycle is nice to have.
- Experience with AngularJS and OpenShift, Kubernetes, or other cloud platforms is nice to have.
