Base Salary
$207k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead software architecture, design, and development for high-performance server platforms.
- Set technical direction and define goals for high-impact projects.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and systems engineering teams on pre-silicon firmware/software co-development and integration.
- Deliver software solutions spanning firmware, BIOS, kernels, and drivers, including testing, deployment, and long-term maintenance.
- Influence, mentor, and coach a distributed team of engineers.
- Manage project priorities, deliverables, timelines, and cross-team execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Eight years of experience in software development.
- Five years of experience testing and launching software products.
- Five years of experience working with embedded operating systems.
- Three years of experience with software design and architecture.
- Experience with C and C++.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
- Preferred: eight years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: three years in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- Preferred: three years working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional or cross-business projects.
- Preferred: experience with kernels and kernel drivers.
Benefits
- US base salary of $207000 - $300000, plus a 20% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
