Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain ETL pipelines for vendor, tick/bar, and trading data using Python and related data infrastructure.
- Build trading platforms and business-specific infrastructure supporting new businesses and markets.
- Perform statistical analysis, build anomaly detection systems, model exchange behavior, and measure infrastructure impacts on trading outcomes.
- Develop post-trade systems for clearing, reconciliation, fee computation, position management, and PnL.
- Parse broker files, enrich trades with reference data, and compute fees across global markets and asset classes.
- Debug production incidents, trace data through pipelines, and own root-cause fixes.
- Collaborate with trading, operations, finance, research, and engineering teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python with hands-on experience building and maintaining production systems.
- Comfort working on Linux, including command-line use, debugging, and bare-metal environments.
- Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and system design.
- Solid debugging skills and the ability to navigate unfamiliar codebases quickly.
- Clean production-quality coding practices, data rigor, ownership, collaboration, and adaptability in a fast-paced trading environment.
