Responsibilities
- Architect and build enterprise-level WordPress plugins, themes, and Gutenberg blocks.
- Define back-end technical vision and strategy for large-scale projects, including architecture, performance, and scalability decisions.
- Conduct expert code reviews focused on quality, security, and maintainability.
- Solve complex performance and caching challenges for platforms serving millions of visitors.
- Provide technical guidance, establish WordPress development best practices, and contribute to client-facing technical strategy.
Requirements
- Expert-level mastery of modern PHP and deep WordPress expertise.
- Sophisticated understanding of the Gutenberg ecosystem and experience building scalable WordPress solutions.
- A portfolio or GitHub demonstrating real-world WordPress code and the ability to build elegant, scalable systems.
- Experience leading technical discussions with clients and translating business needs into technical strategy.
- Extensive Git workflow experience with strong debugging and optimization abilities.
- Ability to collaborate proactively and lead effectively on a globally distributed remote team.
