Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable AEM Sites and DAM solutions using AEM as a Cloud Service.
- Develop AEM components, templates, Sling Models, OSGi services, workflows, schedulers, and integrations.
- Implement headless content delivery using AEM Content Services and APIs.
- Apply DAM metadata, taxonomy, asset organization, and governance practices.
- Build and maintain AEM Cloud Manager pipelines and automated development workflows.
- Design for performance, scalability, security, reliability, and maintainability across distributed systems.
- Develop automated functional and integration tests and support performance validation.
- Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams in Scrum and Kanban environments.
- Provide technical guidance, participate in design and code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and mentor less-experienced engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience; an advanced degree is preferred.
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience, including scalable enterprise content management and digital experience platform development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager, including AEM as a Cloud Service, AEM Sites, DAM, Sling APIs and Models, OSGi services, workflows, schedulers, and AEM Cloud Manager pipelines.
- Experience designing and implementing headless content delivery with AEM Content Services and APIs.
- Strong proficiency in AEM development, customization, configuration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Proficiency with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; React and Node.js experience is preferred.
- Experience implementing enterprise digital asset management solutions involving metadata models, taxonomy, and asset management practices.
- Understanding of application design, APIs, distributed systems, scalability, performance, security, and reliability.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks, code quality practices, and technical documentation.
- Experience working effectively with distributed engineering teams and knowledge of Scrum and/or Kanban.
