Responsibilities
- Identify, scope, and lead large technical projects.
- Make effective tradeoffs considering business priorities and user experience.
- Engineer monitoring and alerting systems for security data integrity.
- Collaborate with security researchers to deploy new scanning techniques.
- Work with engineers to impact customer security positively.
- Lead complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Set direction for critical technical areas.
- Contribute to building Vanta’s engineering culture.
Requirements
- 7+ years of full stack experience with a focus on backend skills.
- Experience in technical leadership roles for teams or projects.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience building user-facing SaaS products for startups and enterprises.
- Previous startup experience or a bias for action.
- Experience building 0→1 products and solving large scale problems.
- Interest in learning about security or prior experience in the field.
- Experience with TypeScript and Go is a plus.
