Responsibilities
- Design and evolve identity services for secure access across 1Password products.
- Architect scalable systems for authentication, authorization, and policy enforcement.
- Collaborate with technical leaders to build consensus and manage dependencies.
- Write reliable, durable, and maintainable code.
- Drive best practices in coding, testing, and operational readiness.
- Mentor engineers and foster technical growth.
- Influence long-term platform strategy and align identity capabilities with company goals.
- Anticipate security risks and ensure compliance with best practices.
- Improve the developer experience for teams using identity services.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building resilient software systems.
- Deep expertise in Go programming.
- Strong understanding of authentication and identity concepts.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in identity and access management.
- Proven ability to lead identity strategy and mentor teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience defining and executing technical roadmaps.
- Expertise in distributed systems and system architecture.
- Ability to lead technical discussions and drive architectural decisions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity about evolving identity standards.
