Base Salary
$179k - $205k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers building distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Deliver solutions that meet regulatory needs and create customer experiences for millions of Americans.
- Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions.
- Mentor engineering community members and participate in internal and external technology communities.
- Use JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, Go, databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS tools and services.
- Experiment with emerging technologies and interactive AI tooling to improve productivity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience required; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 1 year of cloud computing experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud required.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience with at least one of JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go preferred.
- 3+ years of experience with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service preferred.
- 4+ years of experience with open source frameworks preferred.
- At least 1 year of people management experience preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience with Agile practices preferred.
- Experience using interactive AI tooling beyond basic code completion preferred.
