Base Salary
$179k - $205k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers building distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Create technology solutions that meet regulatory needs for the company.
- Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions.
- Use Java, Python, open-source relational and NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS tools and services.
- Stay current with technology trends, experiment with new technologies, participate in technology communities, and mentor engineering colleagues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 1 year of cloud computing experience.
- Preferred: master’s degree.
- Preferred: 7+ years of experience with Java or Python.
- Preferred: 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service.
- Preferred: 4+ years of experience with open-source frameworks.
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience with Agile practices.
- Preferred: experience using interactive AI tooling beyond basic code completion to accelerate productivity.
