Base Salary
$102k - $261k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop large-scale distributed software services and solutions.
- Perform system design across multiple components, participate in design and code reviews, and use data and telemetry to guide decisions.
- Build secure, reliable, diagnosable, monitored, modular, and reusable services and components.
- Improve test coverage, implement integration tests, and resolve technical problem areas.
- Troubleshoot and optimize automation, reliability, and monitoring for Live Site.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver cohesive, data-driven customer and partner experiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 2+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Coding experience with languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
- Preferred: a master’s degree with 3+ years of technical engineering experience or a bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of technical engineering experience, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: 2+ years designing, developing, or maintaining secure software systems, including authentication, data protection, access control, and secure coding.
- Preferred: 2+ years building and operating scalable, highly available cloud services or distributed systems on Azure, AWS, GCP, or comparable environments.
- Preferred: experience with production ownership, CI/CD pipeline integration, automated testing, or AI/ML-powered systems and workflows.
