Base Salary
$137k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement new features across Android mobile and TV platforms.
- Write maintainable Kotlin code using Coroutines and Jetpack Compose.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define, design, and ship features.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making.
- Improve performance, reliability, accessibility, analytics, and developer experience across devices.
- Mentor and support junior engineers and advocate for Android development best practices.
Requirements
- Strong experience in Android development and a deep understanding of the Android SDK.
- Proficiency in Kotlin and Coroutines for asynchronous programming.
- Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose.
- Understanding of MVI, Repository, and Interactors/Use Cases architecture patterns.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git, CI/CD pipelines, and testing frameworks.
- Experience with or interest in Kotlin Multiplatform and cross-platform development.
- Familiarity with dependency injection frameworks such as Metro, Hilt, or Dagger.
- Experience with performance optimization, accessibility, and analytics.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, critical-thinking, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to mentor and support other engineers.
