Base Salary

$197k - $345k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Prototype ambiguous interaction and device-capability concepts directly in production iOS codebases.
  • Apply native iOS standards and platform capabilities while identifying opportunities for bespoke experiences.
  • Train designers and document agentic prototyping workflows so design teams can prototype in mobile codebases.
  • Create reusable interaction patterns and prototyping tools for teams working on the iOS app.
  • Partner with designers and engineers to provide technical and craft guidance on native and custom solutions.
  • Use data and shipped-feature learnings to improve prototyping tools and craft-investment decisions.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience at the intersection of product design and iOS engineering.
  • Deep hands-on fluency in Swift, SwiftUI, and Objective-C.
  • A track record of building working code-based prototypes for ambiguous concepts.
  • Deep, current knowledge of iOS platform standards, Apple HIG, and native frameworks.
  • Experience creating tools, documentation, or training that helps designers and engineers improve their craft.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and evangelism skills across teams.
  • Familiarity with or enthusiasm for agentic or AI-assisted coding tools and teaching design teams to use them.
