Responsibilities
- Design, implement, deliver, and test production Android and iOS applications for consumer banking use cases.
- Own the technical direction and delivery of client engagements, including system design and architectural decisions.
- Lead and multiply the effectiveness of engineers while remaining hands-on with coding when needed.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders, designers, product owners, users, technologists, and leadership to deliver business-aligned software.
- Break down complex problems into technical solutions and proactively address delivery risks.
- Promote strong software architecture, development best practices, and responsible adoption of new technologies.
- Help build and modernize mobile capabilities for onboarding, account management, money movement, market expansion, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- 10–12+ years of experience designing and building complex, commercial-grade software systems.
- 4+ years of experience leading Agile teams.
- Expert-level experience building production Android applications with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
- Expert-level experience building production iOS applications with Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit.
- Experience in consumer banking, including account management and onboarding.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party library integration.
- Understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and best practices.
- Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines for mobile applications.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Preferred qualifications include fraud management, KYC, AML, regulatory reporting, on-device biometrics, and published apps in the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
- A college degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience, is a bonus qualification.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Claude Code, or Copilot is preferred.
