Responsibilities
- Develop high-performance C++ systems for a proprietary game engine, focusing on real-time rendering, performance, and scalability.
- Design, implement, and maintain rendering features, core engine components, tools, and graphics pipelines.
- Profile and optimize GPU and CPU performance across devices, with particular emphasis on mobile.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code with code-level comments.
- Mentor teammates, share best practices, and stay current with graphics and platform trends.
- Collaborate with engine, gameplay, art, and design teams to deliver high-quality game experiences across supported devices and platforms.
Requirements
- Expert-level C++ development skills, including performance tuning, multithreading, and low-level engine systems.
- Experience shipping large-scale 3D games across multiple platforms.
- Experience with game engines and art/content pipelines.
- Deep understanding of modern rendering pipelines and graphics APIs, including Vulkan and Metal.
- Proficiency with GPU profiling and debugging tools.
- At least six years of game industry experience.
- Fluent spoken English for professional communications.
- Passion for advancing Android graphics, particularly with Vulkan, is preferred.
- Familiarity with SIMD instruction sets is preferred.
- A project or example to share from Shadertoy is preferred.
