Base Salary
$138k - $216k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, secure, and configurable platform services for the Provider Servicing Team.
- Lead backend development and support of services across backend (Java/Spring Cloud) and integration platforms (Mulesoft and others).
- Utilize working knowledge of AI-powered developer tools and contribute to AI adoption in development.
- Build and enrich APIs and data services to integrate with partners.
- Collaborate with product managers, operations analysts, and customer advocates to build solutions for Providers.
- Understand architectural decisions and drive reusable patterns for cloud-native, AI-enabled backend systems.
- Lead and mentor other engineers in the team.
- Work with operations and customer advocates to create efficient processes through automation.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Java & Spring Cloud with a deep understanding of microservices architecture.
- Regular use of AI-enhanced development tools.
- Extensive experience with Cloud Technologies (AWS/GCP preferred).
- Hands-on experience in data architecture, SQL/PostgreSQL, and developing data-intensive services.
- Prior experience in building, launching, and maintaining complex systems.
- Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements.
- Excellent communication skills across all levels and teams.
