Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and scale high-throughput ingestion pipelines and backend services for database metrics.
- Develop lightweight agents to extract telemetry and execution stats from relational and NoSQL engines.
- Design intelligent engines to detect slow queries and deliver optimization recommendations.
- Build AI agents for automated root-cause analysis and incident investigation.
- Write robust backend services and APIs while collaborating across the stack.
- Design and maintain event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka.
- Own code from commit to production in a DevOps model.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure quality and performance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building and operating production-grade software.
- Mastery of at least one major backend language (Go, Java, or Python).
- Deep experience with relational databases and NoSQL datastores.
- Proficient in database management and designing high throughput data models.
- Proven track record of designing fault-tolerant backend architectures and APIs.
- Rigorous approach to code reviews and automated testing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
