Base Salary
$143k - $331k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design reliable, scalable, and maintainable platform systems using sound engineering principles.
- Collaborate across infrastructure, security, networking, and service teams to improve end-to-end reliability.
- Establish and promote coding, testing, observability, and operational-readiness standards.
- Develop automation, services, and tools using Go, Python, Terraform, and other relevant technologies.
- Define requirements, scope solutions, estimate work, and deliver improvements that reduce operational risk and increase service resilience.
- Design, implement, test, deploy, and operate engineering platforms, developer tooling, and Azure integrations.
- Meet Microsoft Cloud Background Check and other applicable security screening requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 6+ years of technical engineering experience involving coding, or equivalent experience.
- Experience coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Preferred: master’s degree and 12+ years of technical engineering experience, or bachelor’s degree and 15+ years of experience, with coding experience including Go.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.
