Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement software solutions for R&D EDA systems supporting engineering and product development.
- Gather requirements and analyze system flows, data usage, and work processes to identify improvements.
- Perform the full software development lifecycle from requirements analysis through coding, testing, deployment, user training, and support.
- Develop maintainable code, source-code documentation, user documentation, and automated tests.
- Use modern software IDEs, continuous integration systems, and automated testing.
- Leverage advanced AI coding tools throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Deliver high-quality results on schedule while supporting team and organizational objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s candidates require 3+ years of RF/analog integrated-circuit experience in RF front-end module design and RF lab equipment testing, plus 2+ years of ASIC/RF design, verification, or related experience.
- Master’s candidates require 1+ years of ASIC design, verification, or related experience; PhD candidates are accepted in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong foundation in software development, software design fundamentals, development processes, debugging, testing, and documentation.
- Advanced knowledge of Python, Perl, and/or Bash.
- Ability to translate user needs into effective technical solutions and demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- C++ with STL and Boost, GUI design, database design, and Linux knowledge are preferred or beneficial.
