Responsibilities
- Design and implement core AI services and frameworks for multiple business use cases.
- Build and integrate Generative AI solutions for chat, summarization, reasoning, and recommendations.
- Develop orchestration layers for prompts, tools, agents, and workflows.
- Implement RAG pipelines using structured and unstructured data sources.
- Create reusable components for prompt templates, guardrails, evaluation, and monitoring.
- Integrate AI services with Salesforce and develop Salesforce extensions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Flows.
- Collaborate with architects and product owners to translate business needs into AI-driven solutions.
- Apply security, compliance, and responsible AI guidelines.
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architectural decisions.
- Experiment with emerging AI models, tools, and frameworks.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software development experience; the additional information specifies 3–5 years.
- At least 1–2 years of experience working with AI or Generative AI implementations.
- Strong understanding of Generative AI and LLM fundamentals, including tokens, embeddings, context windows, and hallucination mitigation.
- Hands-on experience with prompt engineering, prompt tuning, RAG architectures, and semantic search solutions.
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or similar languages.
- Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Experience with Salesforce development using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Flows.
- Understanding of the Salesforce data model, security, and integrations.
- Knowledge of version control and automated testing.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification is mandatory.
- Salesforce AI Associate, AI or cloud certifications, vector database or embedding-store experience, AI governance knowledge, and cloud or DevOps pipeline experience are preferred.
- Fifteen years of full-time education is required.
