Responsibilities
- Set strategic technical direction for AI user experience, enablement platforms, and enterprise adoption journeys.
- Author production-ready blueprints, starter kits, reference architectures, and unified platform interface components.
- Lead technical consultancy sessions, evaluate complex use cases, guide architecture selection, and mentor engineering and power-user communities.
- Translate field insights and developer feedback into inputs for the core platform engineering roadmap.
- Embed responsible AI guardrails, security best practices, and GxP validation compliance into platform accelerators and developer workflows.
- Partner with Product, Security, Quality, and Business stakeholders to drive collaboration and technical community engagement.
- Establish software delivery standards, best practices, modular enablement frameworks, and reusable assets.
- Promote Roche’s AI Tech Offering to drive enterprise adoption and alignment.
Requirements
- 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with leadership in developer platforms, enterprise environments, and reusable software assets.
- Proven experience driving developer enablement, leading technical consultancies, and connecting AI platform technologies to business adoption.
- Proven AI expertise and experience adopting emerging AI technologies.
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- Experience in senior architecture roles, cross-functional technical leadership, and mentoring engineering talent.
- Strong software development or platform engineering background, including coding, end-to-end architecture evaluation, and CI/CD pipeline evaluation.
- Hands-on experience with modern software development processes using AI coding assistants.
- Strong English communication skills at C1/C2 level.
- Ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries, improve processes, manage stakeholders, share knowledge, and measure platform adoption through quantitative metrics.
