Base Salary
$91k - $187k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and validate advanced network fabrics and systems for enterprise, data center, and cloud environments.
- Develop network automation modules, scripts, dashboards, telemetry systems, alerting mechanisms, and operational tools.
- Create test cases and strategies, lead testing practices, conduct pre-production validation, and improve break-fix and root cause analysis processes.
- Monitor network health, define performance and service-level metrics, support incident response, and investigate network anomalies and failures.
- Analyze latency, throughput, packet loss, capacity, and service metrics to identify efficiency issues and scale infrastructure.
- Collaborate with vendors, project managers, quality assurance, monitoring teams, customers, and internal stakeholders.
- Mentor junior engineers, provide subject matter expertise, document root cause analyses, and contribute to architecture and roadmap discussions.
Requirements
- Experience designing, developing, validating, and scaling enterprise, data center, or cloud networking systems.
- Experience building automation frameworks, scripts, monitoring dashboards, telemetry systems, alerting mechanisms, and network operations tools.
- Ability to develop network test cases and strategies, lead testing protocols, conduct pre-production validation, and perform root cause analysis.
- Ability to analyze network performance, service-level, security, and capacity metrics.
- Experience with incident response, change management reviews, governance documentation, and networking standards alignment.
- Ability to work independently, manage project deliverables, collaborate across teams, engage with customers, and mentor junior engineers.
