Base Salary
$240k - $280k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own technical aspects of sales campaigns, including solution design, architecture, technical presentations, opportunity qualification, and handoff to consulting and services teams.
- Partner with Client Directors to develop account strategies, identify technology and vendor opportunities, and drive campaigns through engagement conversion.
- Present technical briefings, lab demonstrations, conferences, user groups, and forums to clients, partners, and broader audiences.
- Qualify and position consulting engagements and services based on client requirements, decision processes, and funding.
- Lead solution verification and bill-of-materials review for the assigned geography.
- Provide technical thought leadership, coaching, and mentoring to internal resources and partners.
- Track engagement details and key performance indicators while prioritizing opportunities for team productivity and profitability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- At least 4 years of pre-sales and data center experience.
- Experience serving as a technical lead in a pre-sales sales campaign.
- Extensive knowledge of one or more data center solution areas, including storage, networking, compute, virtualization, data center management or automation, and security.
- Strong professional communication, presentation, analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, teamwork, and customer-focused skills.
- Ability to work independently under critical conditions and influence others to achieve results.
- Ability to understand and articulate an enterprise cloud framework and work effectively with partners and subject-matter experts.
