Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud security controls across AWS and Google Cloud.
- Build reusable Terraform modules and self-service tooling for secure implementation.
- Operate and tune CSPM/CNAPP tooling to identify misconfigurations and exposures.
- Drive remediation of cloud vulnerabilities balancing risk and business priorities.
- Strengthen IAM, secrets management, and just-in-time access patterns.
- Embed security into CI/CD pipelines through various scanning and protection measures.
- Collaborate with SOC and engineering teams on cloud-native detections and incident response.
Requirements
- 4+ years of security engineering experience, with 2+ years in cloud security.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native attack paths and IAM risks.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code, ideally Terraform.
- Ability to write code in Python, Go, or similar languages for automation.
- Experience integrating security tooling into CI/CD pipelines.
- Working knowledge of compliance frameworks like SOC 2, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
