Base Salary
$150k - $165k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new software features using proprietary tools while adhering to Firm requirements.
- Coordinate feature testing, present proofs of concept and demos, and obtain user signoffs.
- Analyze backlog requirements and work with business users on preferences, deadlines, and requirements.
- Create action items from user queries and business requirements.
- Participate in Scrum planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Prepare, supervise, and conduct regular and out-of-cycle software releases.
- Provide application support during on-hours and off-hours periods.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; a three-year foreign degree is acceptable.
- Three years of experience in the position offered, as an Associate or Analyst, or in a closely related occupation.
- Three years of experience with Java EE, Spring, Scala, UI design, and Angular.
- Three years of experience designing high-volume, asynchronous, observable, and highly available distributed systems.
- Three years of experience with publish/subscribe and queue-based messaging systems, including IBM MQ.
- Three years of experience with relational databases including Sybase and IBM DB2.
- Three years of experience with Liquibase, document-oriented databases including NoSQL and MongoDB, and Docker.
- Three years of experience with Git, Jenkins, and Gradle for CI/CD and build automation.
