Base Salary
$127k - $183k/yr
Responsibilities
- Execute against a well-defined automation roadmap and accelerate it.
- Change how work gets built by moving towards CLI-driven and agentic development.
- Build automations and AI agents across various finance functions.
- Help implement close-management tooling and ensure its reliability.
- Configure and extend finance systems like NetSuite and Zip.
- Work directly with accountants to understand and automate their workflows.
- Make build-or-buy decisions and collaborate with technology vendors.
- Raise the bar for work quality through design reviews and operational practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in finance technology.
- Strong understanding of accounting processes without being a career accountant.
- Dissatisfaction with manual, repetitive processes and a drive to automate.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools and systems.
- Curiosity about automation and AI, with hands-on experience preferred.
- Comfort operating as a senior individual contributor and leading through influence.
- Preferred experience in building automation around finance processes.
