Base Salary
$163k - $247k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and test reliable, scalable Business Insurance products.
- Design and implement innovative AI-powered Business Insurance experiences.
- Iterate on launched features using customer feedback and metrics.
- Partner with product, design, and cross-functional partners to refine ideas, shape scope, and deliver end-to-end experiences.
- Mentor and develop engineers through pairing, code review, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years building customer-facing products at scale.
- An AI-native mindset and comfort embedding AI tools into daily work.
- Proven experience delivering multi-quarter projects end to end, from scoping and planning through execution, stakeholder management, and launch.
- Strong platform and application engineering experience, including services, APIs, data flows, and observability.
- Strong documentation and communication skills, including the ability to explain technical tradeoffs and align solutions with technical and business audiences.
- Experience building, deploying, and evaluating AI solutions in production is a plus.
- Experience with Ruby on Rails and Python is a plus.
