Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain governed GRC automations and AI-enabled compliance solutions.
- Automate collection, validation, and packaging of evidence for SOX, NYDFS Part 500, and internal control assessments.
- Build exception intake, routing, reporting, and dashboard workflows in ServiceNow GRC/IRM and Archer.
- Integrate control, risk, and evidence data across GRC, ITSM, identity, and security tooling using APIs and connectors.
- Apply AI to draft control narratives, summarize findings, map controls to frameworks, and accelerate analysis with human review retained.
- Create process and technical documentation, runbooks, data lineage, and control mappings for each automation.
- Embed least-privilege access, logging, change control, and company AI Policy requirements into automations.
- Partner with IT Compliance, Internal Audit, Information Security, and operating-unit compliance teams to identify opportunities, gather requirements, and drive adoption.
Requirements
- Demonstrated hands-on experience building and shipping automated workflows that replace manual or fragmented processes.
- Proficiency in Python and experience building and consuming APIs and REST integrations.
- Practical experience with workflow automation, orchestration tools, reusable pipelines, and system integrations.
- Experience with applied AI, including agents, retrieval-augmented generation, and LLM-assisted workflows.
- Ability to structure, transform, and reliably move data across systems.
- Ability to design with security, oversight, accountability, and human review in mind.
- Ability to explain technical work to nontechnical stakeholders and leadership.
- Comfort working autonomously and influencing adoption across teams without direct authority.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Several years of hands-on experience in software or automation engineering, data or integration engineering, or applied AI, including production-grade automation delivery.
- Preferred experience with identity, cloud security, GRC, security operations, or AI security domains.
- Preferred experience with Azure, laboratory or sandbox environments, reusable automation patterns, enterprise-scale delivery, and coaching-oriented collaboration.
