Responsibilities

Own complex frontend features end-to-end from design collaboration through production deployment.
Lead frontend architecture and enforce code quality, accessibility, performance, and testability standards.
Build rich user interfaces backed by RESTful and GraphQL APIs and collaborate on frontend-backend API contracts.
Develop responsive real-time and asynchronous user experiences using progress indicators, polling, and WebSocket-driven updates.
Lead migration of legacy UI surfaces to modern component architectures and design systems.
Partner with Product Management, UX, and backend engineering to shape feature strategy and deliver cohesive experiences.
Conduct code reviews and mentor junior and intermediate engineers.
Troubleshoot production UI issues, contribute to root-cause analyses, and improve client-side observability and monitoring.

At least 5 years of experience building production-grade enterprise web applications.
Deep hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, Redux or equivalent state management, and modern JavaScript.
Strong experience consuming RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs and designing effective frontend-backend contracts.
Understanding of accessibility, WCAG, cross-browser compatibility, and frontend performance optimization.
Experience with UI testing frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, or Jest.
Ability to collaborate with UX, Product, and backend engineering teams.
Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred experience with micro-frontends, server-side rendering, design system integration such as Okta Odyssey, feature flags, gradual rollouts, WebSockets, real-time UI patterns, identity and access management concepts, enterprise admin tooling, and cloud deployment pipelines.
