Responsibilities
- Own the architecture, evolution, scaling, and technical execution of core backend services for TalentOS search, matching, and AI-driven features.
- Build backend infrastructure for LLM orchestration, intelligent agent workflows, and Model Context Protocol integrations.
- Develop secure, performant APIs and microservices for high concurrent traffic and complex agent executions.
- Design data models and access patterns across SQL, NoSQL, vector, and search databases handling billions of professional data points.
- Optimize system performance and cloud infrastructure while maintaining high uptime for mission-critical recruitment workflows.
- Mentor junior engineers, lead rigorous code reviews, and raise the engineering quality bar.
Requirements
- 7+ years of backend engineering experience designing and scaling production-grade distributed systems.
- Expert proficiency in at least one modern object-oriented language, such as Java, Go, or Python.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design, concurrency, clean code architecture, LLMs, agentic architectures, and Model Context Protocol.
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems, public cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, caching strategies, and high-throughput data modeling.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience, from a premier institution.
