Responsibilities
- Design and develop secure, scalable technical solutions on Salesforce platforms.
- Analyze business processes and system implementations to identify inefficiencies and critical metrics.
- Evaluate existing code, reduce technical debt, and establish technology roadmaps with system architects.
- Maintain and optimize the full software development lifecycle using Salesforce configuration, Apex, VisualForce, LWC, APIs, and Force.com applications.
- Implement enhancements and projects and resolve incidents with technical and cross-functional business teams.
- Mentor, develop, and train junior developers.
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Product, Growth, Marketing, and Finance teams to scale revenue-generating operations and improve sales efficiency.
- Champion and model Samsara’s cultural principles.
Requirements
- 7+ years of Salesforce development experience with extensive knowledge of Sales Cloud, Apex, VisualForce, LWC, and Force.com tools and applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Experience designing test plans, performing unit testing, and writing test classes for code coverage.
- Experience with Salesforce development best practices and full lifecycle software development.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, organization, prioritization, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and perform multiple tasks under minimal supervision.
- Experience in Agile development methodology.
- Salesforce CPQ experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with integrated applications such as MuleSoft is preferred.
- Experience contributing to CI/CD pipeline setup is preferred.
- Platform Developer, Platform App Builder, and other Salesforce certifications are preferred.
