Responsibilities
- Coordinate customer onboarding and offboarding, including environment readiness, configuration, access management, validation, and closure.
- Plan and execute customer release rollouts, feature enablement, upgrades, production deployments, and rollback procedures.
- Manage end-to-end customer change workflows, including risk assessment, approvals, maintenance windows, implementation evidence, and closure.
- Develop and maintain Python automation for operational workflows, deployment orchestration, ticket updates, reporting, data validation, and health checks.
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with engineering, QA, release management, customer success, support, and operations teams.
- Monitor deployments, troubleshoot failures, participate in incident resolution, and document corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain runbooks, standard operating procedures, deployment guides, automation documentation, and audit-ready change records.
- Identify process gaps and implement automation to reduce turnaround time, manual effort, and operational risk.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, release engineering, deployment operations, platform operations, or a related role.
- Experience supporting customer onboarding and offboarding in a SaaS, cloud, or enterprise software environment.
- Experience executing release rollouts, feature enablement, upgrades, and production changes across customer environments.
- Working knowledge of customer change-management processes, including approvals, risk assessment, maintenance windows, implementation plans, validation, rollback, and closure.
- Strong Python scripting and automation skills, including JSON/YAML handling, data processing, error handling, logging, reusable modules, and API integrations.
- Experience with source control and CI/CD tools such as Git, Bitbucket, GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, Harness, or Azure DevOps.
- Working knowledge of Linux, shell scripting, AWS, Azure, or GCP, and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred experience with Jira, Jira Automation, ITSM or change-management tools, workflow automation, Terraform, Ansible, Helm, monitoring, observability, dashboards, or operational reporting.
- Experience in SaaS, cybersecurity, or another customer-focused technology organization is preferred; relevant cloud, Kubernetes, DevOps, ITIL, Agile, or Lean certification is advantageous.
