Base Salary
$137k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Python and FastAPI.
- Translate ambiguous business and technical requirements into actionable software designs.
- Work with OLTP databases, focusing on schema design and performance optimization.
- Integrate SmartAsset services with internal and external APIs.
- Ensure secure data ingress and egress within private network environments.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage and optimize AWS services, including IAM roles and policies.
- Maintain production applications at scale for high availability and performance.
- Design and implement data collection pipelines for Large Language Models.
- Explore and integrate LLM-related technologies and address scaling challenges.
- Rapidly prototype user interfaces for internal tools using frameworks like Streamlit.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a ML Engineer with a strong focus on Python development.
- Experience with AWS cloud platforms, including IAM and EKS/ECS.
- Strong expertise with OLTP/relational databases such as Aurora and MySQL.
- Experience with DevOps toolsets like Terraform is a plus.
- Strong experience in developing and maintaining large-scale applications.
- Experience in writing clean, maintainable, and testable code.
- Experience building integrations with internal and external service providers.
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
