Responsibilities
- Design, standardize, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines for application and platform workloads in Microsoft Azure.
- Define source-control, branching, release, and environment-management strategies across teams and products.
- Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code and automation patterns for Azure environments and shared services.
- Embed security, compliance, quality gates, and automated testing into delivery pipelines and deployment workflows.
- Establish monitoring, deployment telemetry, and feedback loops to improve delivery performance and platform reliability.
- Design and implement connectivity for third-party applications, cloud integrations, and IP networking.
- Troubleshoot platform, connectivity, and deployment issues and support application owners with resilience improvements using Kubernetes and OpenStack.
- Mentor engineers, review designs, guide delivery teams, and serve as a senior technical authority for DevOps and platform decisions.
- Act as a customer point of contact by providing technical guidance and supporting smooth transitions.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in information technologies.
- At least 3 years of experience migrating on-premise solutions to cloud environments with cost optimization.
- At least 3 years of experience designing and architecting multilayer cloud-only or hybrid networks for Microsoft Azure.
- At least 3 years of experience designing and delivering systems based on IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
- At least 3 years of experience building CI/CD pipelines and serverless architectures.
- At least 3 years of experience with Bash, Python, PowerShell, or similar scripting languages.
- At least 3 years of experience with Oracle database migration, networking including ExpressRoute and VPN, and SAP integrations.
- Experience with connectivity for third-party applications, cloud integrations, and IP networking.
- Experience with DevSecOps and the listed Azure, automation, deployment, container, monitoring, operating-system, and infrastructure technologies.
- Strong communication, analytical thinking, teamwork, presentation, and customer-engagement skills.
- English proficiency at upper-intermediate C1 level; German is beneficial.
- Microsoft DevOps Engineer Expert certification or comparable cloud or automation credentials is preferred.
