Responsibilities
- Design, standardize, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines for application and platform workloads in Azure.
- Define source-control, branching, release, environment-management, and deployment strategies across teams and products.
- Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code and automation patterns for Azure environments and shared services.
- Embed security, compliance, quality gates, and automated testing into delivery pipelines and deployment workflows.
- Establish monitoring, deployment telemetry, and feedback loops to improve delivery performance and platform reliability.
- Mentor engineers, review designs, guide multiple delivery teams, and act as a senior technical authority for DevOps and platform decisions.
- Design cloud migrations, hybrid and cloud-only Azure networks, third-party connectivity, and integrations with cloud and SAP systems.
- Provide customer technical guidance, troubleshoot platform and deployment issues, and support application owners with Kubernetes and OpenStack resilience improvements.
Requirements
- Master's degree in information technology.
- At least 3 years of experience migrating on-premise solutions to cloud environments with cost optimization.
- At least 5 years of experience designing and architecting multilayer cloud-only or hybrid networks for Microsoft Azure.
- At least 5 years of experience designing and delivering systems based on IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
- Three to five years of experience building CI/CD pipelines and serverless architectures.
- Three to five years of coding or scripting experience with Bash, Python, PowerShell, or similar technologies.
- Three to five years of experience with Oracle database migration, networking including ExpressRoute and VPN, and SAP integrations.
- Expert experience with DevSecOps, ELK, Prometheus, Linux, Windows, Azure, Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Advanced experience with Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, and GitLab.
- Experience with Active Directory, Azure Identity Management, and Azure AD Premium is beneficial.
- Experience designing connectivity for third-party applications, cloud integrations, and IP networking.
- Proven ability to act as a customer point of contact and provide technical guidance.
- English proficiency at upper-intermediate C1 level; German is beneficial.
- Microsoft DevOps Engineer Expert certification or comparable cloud or automation credentials.
- Strong communication, analytical, teamwork, and presentation skills.
