Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end DevOps and platform lifecycles across multiple solutions and projects.
- Design, build, and operate secure, scalable multi-cloud platforms using GCP, Microsoft Azure, and AWS.
- Implement reproducible infrastructure provisioning and configuration management with Terraform.
- Deploy and operate containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated release workflows with GitLab CI.
- Establish monitoring, logging, alerting, incident response, automated remediation, and performance optimization practices using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, promote DevOps standards, mentor junior engineers, and support knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a comparable technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Typically 5–8+ years of professional experience in DevOps, platform engineering, cloud engineering, or comparable production cloud-native operations.
- Practical experience designing and operating scalable infrastructure on GCP, Microsoft Azure, or AWS.
- Strong hands-on Infrastructure-as-Code experience, ideally with Terraform.
- Proven experience with Docker and Kubernetes in microservice or cloud-native environments.
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated delivery workflows.
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
- Understanding of software development, operations, automation, reliability engineering, and platform security practices.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing skills.
- English proficiency at B2 level; German is advantageous.
