Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end technical architecture and solution design for SFCC B2C Commerce projects.
  • Define scalable, secure, and high-performance ecommerce solutions aligned with business requirements.
  • Review and govern technical designs, code quality, and implementation best practices.
  • Drive integrations with third-party systems such as OMS, CRM, and Payment Gateways.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business, QA, DevOps, and Product Owners.
  • Perform technical estimations, solution reviews, and risk assessments.
  • Support production issue resolution, performance optimization, and platform stability initiatives.
  • Mentor and guide developers and technical leads across projects.
  • Ensure adherence to SFCC best practices, coding standards, and release governance.
  • Participate in client discussions, architecture workshops, and technical roadmap planning.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware / SFCC B2C).
  • Expertise in SFRA architecture, cartridges, controllers, ISML, OCAPI, SCAPI, hooks, and job frameworks.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, REST APIs, and integration patterns.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, and deployment processes.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure and serverless integrations.
  • Prepare architecture diagrams, technical design documents, and integration specifications.
  • Good understanding of ecommerce concepts including catalog, checkout, and order management.
  • Experience in performance optimization and troubleshooting.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
