Responsibilities
- Collaborate with security architects, product managers, and engineering teams to deliver robust solutions.
- Deliver end-to-end features and enhancements while maintaining quality, reliability, and security standards.
- Debug runtime issues, analyze system logs, and identify root causes across backend components.
- Execute the full software development life cycle in an agile engineering environment.
- Research and implement cybersecurity mechanisms that protect infrastructure access.
- Evaluate architectural choices for scalability and maintainability.
- Maintain code quality, performance, and unit/integration test coverage.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience focused on backend development.
- Deep understanding of Python and experience building production-grade services.
- Strong debugging skills and experience diagnosing system behavior through logs.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat concepts, and secure coding practices.
- Experience with the full software development life cycle in an agile environment.
- Preferred experience with microservices architectures and distributed systems.
- Preferred familiarity with AWS cloud environments, including ECS Fargate, Lambda, and Route 53, or serverless patterns.
- Preferred experience with Git and automated CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins.
- Preferred experience implementing secure brokered access, identity management, or network security solutions.
