Responsibilities
- Analyse business and technical requirements and contribute to solution design.
- Design, develop, test, and implement application enhancements and new features.
- Write secure, maintainable code and participate in peer code reviews.
- Develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts as required.
- Execute unit, system, and integration testing activities.
- Analyse and resolve defects, performance issues, and other technical problems.
- Support application maintenance, incident resolution, and defect remediation.
- Produce technical documentation for users, developers, and support teams.
- Contribute to estimation, planning, delivery, and continuous improvement activities.
- Collaborate with customers, business users, technical stakeholders, and Agile delivery teams.
- Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to junior developers where required.
Requirements
- Strong experience with .NET, C#, ASP.NET MVC, WCF, and REST APIs.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, React, JavaScript, Knockout, and jQuery.
- Experience with SQL Server 2016/2022, Visual Studio 2022, Microsoft AppFabric Global Cache, and IIS.
- Knowledge of application support and maintenance, software testing and quality assurance, source control and CI/CD practices, and secure software development practices.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and ITIL service management practices.
- Ability to collaborate with customers, business users, project stakeholders, and delivery teams.
- Ability to provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to junior developers.
