Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain compiler software components.
- Implement compiler features and resolve complex software defects.
- Analyze real-world applications and industry benchmarks to identify optimization opportunities.
- Improve the performance and efficiency of compiler-generated code for Intel CPU architectures.
- Conduct functional, performance, and stress testing to ensure product quality and reliability.
- Collaborate with engineering, validation, performance, hardware architecture, and software teams.
- Contribute to open-source compiler technologies and industry standards initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Informatics, or a related technical discipline.
- 4+ years of professional experience developing software in C/C++.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and data structures.
- Experience optimizing software for CPU performance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently and proactively drive technical solutions.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred: experience with vectorization, parallel programming models such as OpenMP, LLVM-based compiler frameworks, assemblers, linkers, low-level system software, code generation, performance tuning, and profiling tools such as perf.
