Responsibilities
- Act as a technical expert in all aspects of Snowflake.
- Deploy Snowflake according to best practices to ensure customers understand and can extend its functionalities.
- Demonstrate best practices for implementing Snowflake technology through hands-on engagement with customers.
- Understand competitive technologies and position Snowflake effectively.
- Work closely with system integrator consultants to successfully implement Snowflake in customer environments.
- Provide guidance on solutions for customer-specific technical challenges.
- Support other team members in developing their expertise.
- Collaborate with product management, engineering, and marketing to improve Snowflake's offerings.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a technical role related to pre-sales or post-sales with customers.
- Ability to accurately capture customer needs and propose project directions.
- Excellent presentation and demonstration skills for technical and executive audiences.
- Comprehensive understanding of the data analytics stack from ETL to BI and analytics tools.
- Design and implementation skills in databases, data warehouses, and data processing.
- Extensive practical experience with SQL and SQL analytics.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, Perl, or Bash.
- Flexibility and capability to work on-site with customers, including potential travel.
