Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and support scalable, secure, high-performance enterprise web applications.
- Architect and implement solutions using ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, .NET Framework, and .NET 6, 7, and 8.
- Build and support RESTful APIs and web services.
- Design and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases, stored procedures, views, functions, and queries.
- Investigate and resolve application, integration, performance, and production issues, including root-cause analysis and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA teams, stakeholders, and business users to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in architecture, design, technical decision-making, code reviews, deployments, production releases, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.
- Mentor team members and promote coding, security, and development best practices.
- Participate in on-call support and critical incident management as required.
- Identify improvements to application performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
Requirements
- Strong experience with C#, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, Web API development, .NET Framework, and .NET 6/7/8.
- Experience with Entity Framework, LINQ, dependency injection, object-oriented programming, design patterns, and RESTful services.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, database design and development, stored procedures, functions, views, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Experience with JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure App Services, Azure Storage, CI/CD pipeline implementation, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Git.
- Experience supporting enterprise-level web applications in production environments and troubleshooting application performance issues.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- React.js experience, learning-management-system or educational-technology experience, and familiarity with microservices architecture are preferred.
- Ability to work flexibly with global teams and overlap with U.S. business hours when required.
