Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable backend services, REST APIs, integrations, business logic, data models, repositories, and data access layers using .NET, C#, and ASP.NET Core.
- Implement authentication and authorization with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure, including App Service, Functions, API Management, Storage, SQL, and Key Vault.
- Build CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, configuration management, security controls, production-readiness practices, and infrastructure automation.
- Contribute to containerization, Infrastructure as Code, cloud architecture, event-driven and serverless systems, and multi-cloud deployment across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
- Collaborate with frontend, AI, cloud, and architecture teams to integrate services, troubleshoot applications, and support end-to-end delivery and production operations.
- Perform code reviews, contribute to technical standards, implement automated testing, and support performance, security, reliability, and maintainability.
Requirements
- 6–8 years of software engineering experience with a strong backend focus.
- Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, RESTful APIs, and backend design patterns.
- Proven experience designing, deploying, and supporting applications on Microsoft Azure, including Azure App Service, Functions, API Management, Storage, Azure SQL, Key Vault, and Entra ID.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, infrastructure automation, observability, application security, and production operations.
- Experience with Git, automated testing, containers, microservices, messaging, asynchronous processing, and distributed-system integration patterns.
- Working knowledge of React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and modern web application architecture.
- Hands-on exposure to AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform services, deployment models, and operational practices, plus Kubernetes or managed container platforms.
- Preferred experience includes multi-cloud architecture, event-driven and serverless applications, AI-enabled applications, Azure AI services, LLM integrations, Python-based services, enterprise SaaS, regulated or public-sector solutions, GIS/geospatial features, map APIs, or document-driven platforms.
