Responsibilities
- Design, architect, and own the full lifecycle of generative AI and LLM-centered applications for e-commerce.
- Develop production AI infrastructure including vector databases, high-throughput inference, and real-time data pipelines for context enrichment and low-latency serving.
- Build and maintain RAG frameworks grounded in product catalogs, user history, and operational knowledge bases.
- Implement prompt engineering, agentic designs, and complex LLM chains for stable intelligent software services.
- Establish AI reliability, monitoring, and safety practices to reduce hallucinations and improve cost efficiency at scale.
- Rapidly prototype and productionize new AI capabilities.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software engineering experience with strong coding and code review skills.
- Deep specialization in LLMs, generative AI systems, and AI productivity tools.
- Experience owning end-to-end AI applications including generative AI agents, conversational interfaces, RAG pipelines, LLM fine-tuning and optimization, and AI-powered automation systems.
- A proven track record of taking AI-first products from concept to production with measurable user, operational, or performance improvements.
- Strong understanding of prompt engineering, LLM orchestration frameworks such as LangChain and LlamaIndex, vector databases, semantic search architectures, and scalable MLOps.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with high-traffic consumer AI, cross-functional AI research and product engineering teams, 0-to-1 generative AI products, large-scale non-deterministic systems, rapid experimentation, and e-commerce search.
