Responsibilities

Own and evolve AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure using Terraform for scalability, reliability, and security.
Design, automate, and optimize GitLab CI/CD pipelines with embedded SAST and DAST security controls.
Lead monitoring and observability initiatives using Datadog and drive incident response and resolution.
Implement cloud-security practices covering IAM, RBAC, vulnerability management, and infrastructure hardening.
Drive patch management, threat detection with GuardDuty and Falco, and credential leak prevention.
Collaborate on architecture, security audits, compliance efforts, and cross-functional engineering initiatives.

At least 5 years of DevOps/SRE experience and 3 years in security-focused roles.
Proven experience securing cloud-native systems at scale, including AWS and Kubernetes in production.
Strong knowledge of IAM and RBAC models.
High proficiency with Terraform and GitLab CI, plus coding ability in Go, Python, or JavaScript.
Experience with data-storage systems such as PostgreSQL and data pipelines or ETL processes such as AWS Glue.
Expertise in cloud security, monitoring, and observability, including Datadog, GuardDuty, Falco, or similar tools.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills, comfort working in Agile environments, and fluency in English.
