Responsibilities
- Develop backend features using Ruby and Rails.
- Build frontend functionality with React and Redux.
- Create unit and integration tests using RSpec, Cucumber, and Capybara.
- Develop prototypes and proofs of concept.
- Participate in daily stand-up meetings and peer code reviews.
- Work with Product Management on requirements, work-in-progress reviews, and issue resolution.
- Resolve defects and support end-to-end software development across one or more platforms.
Requirements
- Degree in Software Engineering.
- At least 6 years of full-stack, web-based application development experience.
- At least 6 years of development experience with React and Ruby on Rails; Python or Elixir may substitute for less Ruby expertise.
- At least 6 years of HTML and CSS development experience.
- Understanding of relational database concepts and modeling practices.
- Ability to learn new technologies and work independently or collaboratively.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Collaborative approach to software development.
- Fluency in written and verbal English and Portuguese.
