Responsibilities
- Design and deliver agentic workflows, backend services, APIs, and developer platform capabilities for Core OS teams.
- Identify engineering workflow opportunities and build tools and APIs that agents can use.
- Operate services that remain fast and reliable for software development workflows.
- Collaborate directly with Core OS teams and use developer experience to shape the tools and products.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience developing and shipping production software using technologies such as Python, Swift, or Go.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience building agentic workflows or systems powered by large language models.
- Experience designing and building backend services and APIs.
- Working knowledge of distributed systems fundamentals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a passion for developer tooling and product quality.
- Preferred: experience with tool and function calling, Model Context Protocol, retrieval-augmented generation, agent-quality evaluation frameworks, developer tooling, continuous integration systems, build systems, or tools adopted by other teams.
- Preferred: prior development experience in Unix, Linux, or macOS.
